The Ceremony: Furman University’s Daniel Chapel

Rachel and Jack exchanged vows at the iconic Daniel Chapel at Furman University, a timeless venue known for its tall windows, ivory columns, and serene campus grounds. The soft glow of natural light and the baby blue accents from the bridesmaids’ dresses gave the ceremony a dreamy, springtime feel.

The couple’s love felt palpable during the ceremony, surrounded by family, friends, and the lush greenery of Furman’s beautiful campus.

The Reception: Classic Charm at The Westin Poinsett

After the ceremony, guests made their way to The Westin Poinsett, a historic hotel nestled in the heart of downtown Greenville. With its grand staircase, vintage tile, and elegant architecture, it was the perfect space to toast and dance the night away.

One of the most personal and memorable touches of the night? Rachel hand-drew every single table number, incorporating custom sketches that reflected the groups at each table. From their med school friends and “pizza club” to college roommates and hospital coworkers, each illustration told part of their story. Guests were wowed by the thoughtful, artistic gesture that added meaning to every place setting.

The Color Palette: White & Baby Blue Sophistication

Rachel and Jack chose a romantic palette of crisp white with soft baby blue, accented with eucalyptus and gentle touches of periwinkle. Floral arrangements featured white ranunculus, delphinium, roses, and greenery, perfectly complementing the bridesmaids’ mismatched gowns in different cuts, all within the blue-toned theme.

The cake table was draped in a baby blue linen to match the rest of the reception decor, featuring a trio of ivory buttercream cakes adorned with delicate white blooms and gold cake stands.

Bridal Style: Timeless Meets Modern

Rachel wore an asymmetrical, bow-detailed gown with a flattering sweetheart neckline and subtle pleating that felt both timeless and modern. She carried a soft bouquet of white and blue blooms with eucalyptus, and later changed into a sleek, fitted reception look for rooftop photos.

Jack looked classic and sharp in a black tux with a bow tie, matching the timeless feel of the day.
